The District shall pay each eligible employee's seven (7°%) percent PERS <br />contribution on service payments made under Section 17.17 of this <br />agreement. <br />Effective July 1, 1991, length -of -service retirees shall receive a benefit of <br />$34.00 per month augmented by $5.00 per year for each year of <br />completed service plus $2.00 per year for each year in retired status. <br />Eligibility for this payment is limited to those employees who provide proof <br />of having filed for retirement within 120 days of separation from active <br />service with the District. "Proof' is defined when the District receives a <br />copy of "Notice of Placement on the Retirement Roll" from PERS. <br />J. Effective July 1, 1991, the district will provide for each employee <br />coverage under the PERS survivors benefit program at the standard level. <br />K. Eligible length -of -service retirees (see 34C above for eligibility) whose <br />retirement date is after June 30, 1998 shall receive a benefit of $50 per <br />month augmented by $5 per year for each year of completed service plus <br />$10 per year for each year in retired status. <br />. - a e, WiTeirIMUTM <br />Existing MOU <br />Vacation accruals shall not be accumulated beyond 220 hours subject to a <br />maximum carryover accrual of 180 hours on December 31 of each year.
