3, Increase awareness about resources, programs and activities for youth <br />involvement. <br />A. Assure consistency, through coordination, of outreach and publicity campaigns <br />designed to increase availability of information about area youth activities and <br />services. <br />B. Reach out to and engage with culturally -based providers to increase youth <br />participation in and awareness of resources, programs and activities. <br />C. Collect and make available information about youth (e.g., County Blue Book, flyers <br />from organizations and clubs, directory of youth programs, "Youth Assist" cards) in <br />central locations, such as local libraries, schools, counseling/career centers, local <br />malls and businesses, Teen Center, and local websites. <br />D. Work with youth service providers to compile and maintain a directory of youth <br />programs coordinated and sponsored by community and faith -based organizations. <br />Make available printed and electronic copies at central locations, as described above. <br />E. Support parents in obtaining resources on teen issues by centralizing information at <br />libraries and at accessible community sites (e.g., Under One Roof, focal hospital). <br />F. Coordinate with editors of local newspapers to provide a youth information section or <br />calendar highlighting upcoming community events and activities. <br />G.
