The remaining $2,000 -will be used for phase <br />three printing and meeting costs. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve Youth Commission's Youth Master Plan and direct Youth Commission to <br />proceed with third phase to develop an implementation strategy. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />City Council directed Youth Commission to prepare City's first Youth Master Plan in <br />October, 2000. City Council also provided a $30,000 budget to hire a consultant to <br />assist in this project. Over the past year and a half, Youth Commission selected <br />Coachman Moore & Associates to serve as the project's consultant, convened a <br />planning body of community representatives to form an ad hoc Youth Master Plan <br />Committee, and worked with City staff to develop the attached Youth Master Plan <br />document. The ad hoc committee is composed of members representing Conejo <br />Recreation and Park District, School District, Chamber of Commerce, community <br />organizations, parents, and teens.
