The Goebel Adult Community Centers (GACC) had a large increase primarily due to the fact that they are now utilizing the online registration system for events such as “Entertainment Live!” which saw 327 attendees throughout this session. In addition, yoga, tai chi, and other fitness classes with an emphasis in strength, stretching, balance, and toning were very popular this session, accounting for 264 enrollments in total. Sports no longer processes registration for the Monster Smash Pickleball Tournament, which accounted for 55 participants last year. In addition, one particular contract class that was popular in 2022 did not attract as many returning participants this year, resulting in 48 fewer enrollments. Borchard Community Center (BOC) saw a decrease in after-school program participants (57 fewer than last year). Smaller decreases were also seen in dance classes, preschool, youth sports, and skateboarding (18-25 fewer each). Conejo Community Center (CCC) enrollment decreased primarily in its Parent/Child classes. The unit has been in a transition period, and it is expected that future sessions will see a restoration in enrollment numbers.
