The most recent Five -Year Strategic Plan was adopted by the
CRPD Board of Directors on September 7, 2023. The attached Five -Year Strategic Plan (2024-
2028) represents the 7t" printed version of the Five -Year Strategic Plan.
The Strategic Plan sets forth the Conejo Recreation and Park District's Mission, Vision, Statement
of Philosophy, Strategic Elements and Strategic Goals. For example,
Strategic Goal 2.3 is to: "Maintain a 10 -year Capital Improvement Plan." Every two years the
Board re -adopts a 10 -year CIP which contains over 100 projects — some as large as the
construction of new multi -million -dollar park or community center to as small as replacing doors
at a park building. This 2 -year budget cycle includes over 30 capital projects.
