Hillcrest Center for the Arts <br />The Witch's Princess <br />The Young Artist Ensemble's (YAE) fall show The Witches Princess was a hit! Audiences were able to laugh, <br />experience adventure, and enjoy epic battles and special effects from a cast of 23 youth ages 10-19. The <br />show also featured 5 technical volunteers ages 10-15. <br />Upcoming Shows <br />The next show will be on December 9 and 10 and is the culmination of one of the classes at HCFA called <br />Acting in a Production. They are producing an original play called The Christmas Castle Mystery in the <br />Theatre on the Hill at 1 pm on December 9 and 10. This performance is family friendly and guests of all <br />ages can enjoy. <br />Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />Annual Battle of the Bands <br />The Thousand Oaks Teen Center's Annual High School Battle $ <br />of the Bands will take place on Saturday, December 2 with <br />doors opening at 7pm. Admission for this event will be $10 <br />and is open to all high school aged teens. Industry - <br />professionals will serve as judges and over $500 in prizes will ,�- • <br />be awarded to the to finishers. This will be r <br />an event you don't want to miss! <br />Fall Break; ;! <br />During fall break DVC and BOC held Fall Break camps. These <br />camps offered crafts, games, sports, nature, science experiments, <br />skating, and an opportunity to hang out with friends while on <br />break from school.
