Slightly less classes <br />were held this year compared to the year before, but the average number of participants enrolled per class rose <br />slightly as well (an average of 8.56 participants per class in 2023 compared to 7.98 participants per class in 2022). <br />Nearly half of the waitlisted participants in Aquatic Recreation (AQUA) were hoping to have private swim instruction <br />(142). The majority of the remainder were for the youngest groups of participants (lower class ratios; less space per <br />class) which includes Polliwogs (33 waitlisted), Tiny Tot Seals (49 waitlisted), and Parent/Child classes (13 waitlisted). <br />The Dos Vientos Community Center (DVC) saw large waitlists for its sewing camps led by Pins & Needles (110) as <br />well as its Wrangler Camps led by Ride On (55). <br />Outdoor Recreation sold out nearly every week of its Summer Day Camps, even after expanding its capacity at several <br />locations due to high demand. In addition, two of the McCrea Ranch movie nights had smaller waitlists of 20 and 14. <br />The Sports Department saw its typical waitlists for pickleball (103), tennis (30), and golf (16). <br />Therapeutic Recreation (TR) had waitlists for its Tween Summer Camp (30) and Summer Day Camp (26), as well as <br />two of its social events for Dinner & A Movie (13) and the BBQ Social (12). <br />Program Enrollment Summary Page 1 of 2 Revised 09.2023 <br />
