March 16, 2023 <br />Page 3 <br />Friedl stated the Board reviewed a portion of the Strategic Plan at the February 2,d Board <br />meeting, where three of the eight elements were discussed, as well as the Mission <br />Statement, Statement of Philosophy and Vision Statement. This evening, the Board will <br />do a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis of the <br />remaining elements. Notes will be taken to review as the process continues and will be <br />used to assist in the development of future plans for the direction of District and any <br />changes to the Strategic Plan. The Plan will be brought back to the Board near the end <br />of year for approval in a red -line strikeout version. <br />10. REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />A. Recreation Highlights <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis reported that the Conejo Community Center currently has no electricity; all <br />indoor programs for the weekend have been canceled. She referenced the 2023 <br />"Recreation Goals" document that was provided to the Board members this evening. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported he and senior staff will be holding their biannual budget prep <br />meetings with supervisors next week. Friedl will be out of the office the last week <br />in March; Callis will be acting General Manager. He distributed Gratitude Circle <br />Nomination forms and asked that they be returned as soon as possible. <br />
