Parks Division Re <br />In Mooney's absence, Friedl reported that the fences have come down behind the <br />Goebel Adult Activity Center (GAAC). The fences behind the Teen Center should be <br />coming down shortly. He reminded the Board of the Grand Opening event planned <br />for March loth. <br />C. Management Services Division Repor)_ <br />Smith reported the CRPD audit is wrapping up and a Finance and Audit Committee <br />meeting has been scheduled for early next week. Three audits are currently ongoing <br />at Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA). <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl expressed gratitude to the Board for their handling of the mapping process <br />and thanked Smith for all her hard work regarding same. <br />Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences AftendeY <br />All Board members spent a great amount of time on the mapping item over the last few <br />weeks. Nickles attended a California Association of Recreation and Park Districts <br />(CARPD) Conference Committee meeting and a CARPD Board meeting. He reported <br />that Tom Hare, recently retired CRPD Parks and Planning Administrator, will be a <br />presenter at this year's Conference. Buss and Huffer attended the Wellness Fest at the <br />Goebel Adult Community Center. Huffer began training for his participation in this year's <br />Conejo Senior Volunteer Program's Free Tax Preparation Program.
