-liecember 15, 2022 <br />�age 7 <br />No report. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis clarified that the Los Feliz Safe Passage event is from 10am-12:30pm. The Reign of <br />Terror Haunted House event has resulted in a donation of $42,000 to CRPD, half of which will <br />go to the Teen Center and half to the Conejo Theater for Everyone. The agreement for next <br />year will be brought to the Board for their approval in January. Callis referenced the fall <br />Enrollment Survey provided to the Board this evening and expressed her pride in CRPD staff <br />and the satisfaction the community has with District programs and facilities. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported the Board members have been provided a CRPD Org Chart this evening for <br />their information and reference. A copy of the 2022 Board Appointments and Assignments list <br />has also been provided; Friedl requested Board members review it and give some thought to <br />how they might like to serve in 2023 and to please let Friedl or Huffer know of their interests. <br />He mentioned that some ad hoc committees may be modified. Friedl noted that tonight is <br />Hare's last Board meeting before his retirement. He thanked him for his 17 years of work with <br />the District, which included the completion of 100's of capital projects totaling $64M total, the <br />creation of a matching grant program totaling $1.5M in matching grants and his service on the <br />Play Conejo Board of Directors, during which time over $1 M was raised. He will be sorely <br />missed. Board members echoed Friedi's gratitude. <br />M� <br />ow 0 Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange attended Santa Monica Mountains Conservation (SMMC) and Mountains Recreation & <br />Conservation Authority (MRCA) meetings. Cusworth met with Friedl and Buss on Monday. <br />Cusworth, Nickles and Lange attended the City of Thousand Oaks Reorg meeting. On <br />December 6t", Nickles attended the Association of Water Agencies of Ventura County (AWAVC) <br />Holiday Party and on December 8th he participated, with Friedl and Smith, in a California <br />Association of Recreation and Park District (CARPD) Legislative Committee Meeting. Along <br />with Lange and Huffer, he attended the Employee Holiday Break -fast.
