School field trips are still limited, and virtual <br />tours have slowed down. General visitor attendance on weekends, however, has <br />increased. She shared public hours data and noted there has been an increase in entrance <br />fees. On May 2nd, a very successful event, "Homeschool Day," was held with an <br />attendance of over 200. This will likely become an annual event. The educational video <br />series, made possible through an NEA Grant received during the pandemic, is ongoing. <br />Workshops continue to be popular and a few more were added this year. The Winter <br />Solstice and Holiday Boutique is scheduled for the second Sunday of December. The <br />museum's presence on social media and the internet continues to expand; outreach this <br />year included Museum representatives' participation in the "Malibu Pow Wow." Tejada <br />shared some recent minor improvements to the property and indicated enthusiasm about <br />working toward a "Green Business" certification and the receipt of a Frankenthaler Climate <br />
