CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />November 18, 2021 <br />6:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />M I N U T E S <br />Nickles called the meeting to order at 6:02pm and Hare led the flag salute. <br />Directors Present: Cusworth, Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Smith, and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Full Time Employee Service Awards <br />Mike Byrne — Five Years <br />Michael Braff — Ten Years <br />Michelle Brower — Ten Years <br />Kari Stav — Ten Years <br />Chris Byrne — Fifteen Years <br />Javier Cerda — Fifteen Years <br />Tom Hare — Fifteen Years <br />Andy Morales — Fifteen Years <br />Tony Ruvalcaba — Fifteen Years <br />Brock Smart—Twenty Years <br />Robert Nunes — Twenty-five Years <br />Friedl, Smith, Hare, and Callis introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their <br />professional and academic accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding <br />contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, and families for their support and expressed <br />appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the District's <br />behalf. <br />Michael Morisette, Simi Valley resident, expressed deep appreciation for everything CRPD <br />has done for the Borderline families, especially regarding "The Healing Garden." Morisette is <br />interested in opening a dialogue with the CRPD Board and Staff regarding artist Ali Alinejad's <br />
