Staff Recommendation: That the governing board adopt the attached resolution approving the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (the Authority) FY 2021-2022 final budget. Background: Background: The governing boards are required to approve the Authority's annual budget per Section 11.3 of the mrca Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement. A preliminary version of this budget was approved by the governing board of the Authority on June 2, 2021, the governing boards of the Conejo Recreation and Park District (CRPD) and Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District (RSRPD) on June 17, 2021, and the governing board of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy (SMMC) on June 21, 2021. The proposed final budget is planned to be submitted for consideration to the governing boards of the RSRPD in their meeting scheduled on September 15 2021, the CRPD for their meeting scheduled on September 16, 2021, and to the SMMC for their meeting scheduled on September 20, 2021.
