Holt, Director <br />Chuck Huffer, Director <br />GENERAL MANAGER EMERITUS <br />Tex Ward <br />Approve the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA) Preliminary Budget for <br />Fiscal Year 2021-22. <br />DISCUSSION <br />In accordance with Section 11.3 of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (JPA), MRCA's <br />Preliminary Budget is submitted to the District for approval. The attached Preliminary Budget is <br />scheduled to be approved by the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and Rancho Simi <br />Recreation and Park District at their June meetings, and was adopted by the MRCA Board at its <br />June meeting. <br />The preliminary budget submitted for consideration is the 2020-21 adopted budget, adjusted for <br />significant non-recurring items. This action provides authority for expenditures beginning <br />July 1, 2021, while providing time for development of the final budget, currently underway. The <br />final budget is anticipated to be presented to the governing boards for approval in the August or <br />September 2021 time frame. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN <br />4.2 Develop, maintain and enhance relationships with...
