He <br />referenced the revised purchasing policy and the purchasing policy matrix <br />presented this evening. Staff made assessments and evaluations with the goal <br />of keeping parks open and usable. Mooney reviewed the various factors <br />considered when coming up with this recommendation. These suppliers would <br />be included as part of the bidding process in the future, although staff may utilize <br />other vendors when appropriate. He reviewed each vendor and provided some <br />examples of the use of their products throughout the District and the reasons for <br />choosing same. <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to: <br />1. Adopt the revised Purchasing Policy. <br />2. Determine Landscape Structures, Inc. as a Standardized Outdoor <br />Fitness and Play Equipment Supplier. <br />3. Determine Playworld as a Standardized Outdoor Fitness and Play <br />Equipment Supplier. <br />4. Determine USA Shade as a Standardized Fabric Shade Structure <br />Supplier. <br />5. Determine Musco Sports Lighting as a Standardized Sports Field <br />Lighting Supplier. <br />C. Appropriation Amount Subject to Limitation, FY 2021-2022 <br />Smith reported this report and resolution represents CRPD's annual practice of <br />setting the appropriation limit which increases every year based on the change <br />in population and the change in the California per capita personal income. The <br />limit this year is approximately $49 million and the amount the District has subject <br />to that limitation is approximately $23 million. <br />It was moved by Cusworth, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to Adopt <br />Resolution No. 052021-A setting the 2021-2022 appropriation subject to <br />limitation, that it be read in title only and all future readings be waived. <br />10.
