DEFERRED MATTERS <br /> <br /> A. Public Hearing Preliminary Budget Fiscal Years 2021/22 – 2022/23 <br /> <br /> Nickles opened the Public Hearing; there being no public present to comment, <br />Nickles closed the Public Hearing and continued the hearing to the next Board <br />meeting on June 3, 2021. <br /> <br />8. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Proposed Ten-Year Capital Improvement Plan, Proposed Capital <br />Improvement Budget for Fiscal Years 2021-2022 and 2022-23 <br /> <br /> Hare introduced Mooney, Senior Park Planner, who provided details on the staff <br />recommendation. It is a 10-year plan, with special emphasis and focus on Years <br />1 and 2. This plan will be brought back to the Board at the June 17th meeting for <br />final approval. Mooney explained how the plan is derived and implemented. <br />Years 1 and 2 are part of the FY21-22 and FY22-23 two-year Capital <br />Improvement Budget. Years 3 thru 10 represent plans for the future that will be <br />re-evaluated during each 2-year cycle. CRPD staff provides input, and the <br />projects and their priorities are based on that information. Fiscal guidance is <br />provided by the Finance Department. Mooney shared a thorough review of Years <br />1 and 2 and explained the reasons for the large carryover, including Conejo Creek <br />West and the Senior/Teen Center expansions. Mooney reviewed, with less detail, <br />Years 3 through 10, and outlined the major funding sources for these projects. <br />Mooney answered Board member’s questions and was thanked for his <br />presentation. <br /> <br />B. Revised Purchasing Policy; Determine Landscape Structures, Inc. as a <br />Standardized Outdoor Fitness and Play Equipment Supplier; Determine <br />Playworld as a Standardized Outdoor Fitness and Play Equipment <br />Supplier; Determine USA Shade as a Standardized Fabric Shade Structure <br />Supplier; Determine Musco Sports Lighting as a Standardized Sports Field <br />Lighting Supplier
