Authorize General Manager to enter into a grant and loan agreement with American Youth <br />Soccer Organization Region 9 for a public picnic shade structure improvement at Conejo <br />Creek South. <br />2. Authorize General Manager to enter into a grant agreement with Conejo'valley Little League <br />for a synthetic turf infield on field #2 at Fiore Playfield. <br />3. Authorize General Manager to provide a letter of interest to State of California Department of <br />Transportation (Caltrans) to re-establish the Porter Bill Lease with Caltrans for the property <br />southwest of 23 FWY and Avenida de los Arboles (Fiore Playfield). <br />Additional Capital Improvements Fund Grant projects are provided -for information only and require <br />no action by the Board of Directors. <br />DISCUSSION <br />Background <br />The Conejo Recreation and Park District Capital Improvement Fund Grant is a tool for community <br />groups to turn their project concepts into reality. It is the goal of the District that money will be set <br />aside each year to fund this program so that groups may contribute projects that will enhance our <br />parks and facilities which will benefit the community and its members.
