Park Division Report <br />Sorensen reported that construction of the Dos Vientos Park site is <br />underway; and, pursuant to the move to 401 Hillcrest, at the August 2 Board <br />meeting staff will ask the Board to consider declaring the Park Place facility <br />surplus property. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Sorensen said that a firm date for the <br />Kimber Park dedication has not yet been identified. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton reported that approximately 1,300 attendees enjoyed the July 15 <br />Summer Concert in the Park featuring John Ford Coley, and the Goebel <br />Senior Adult Center celebrated its 10th anniversary on July 16 and the <br />Therapeutic Summer Day Camp begins July 23 for four weeks at Old <br />Meadows Center. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />No report. <br />In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Jorgensen reported that it is anticipated <br />that full on-line registration will be available in December for the winter <br />registration, and, after rehabilitation, the 401 Hillcrest facility will be able to <br />accommodate the on-line registration. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Referencing the documentation, Ward said he was pleased that the City of <br />Thousand Oaks has awarded the contract for 401 Hillcrest Drive <br />improvements, and the project is on schedule. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Jacobsen said that he appreciated receiving the Conejo Valley Days <br />schedule so early. <br />
