DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Park Division Report <br />Sorensen noted the dedication of the dog park at 10 a.m. on June 22. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Sorensen said it is expected that <br />representatives from Park and Bark, community dog park advocates, will be <br />present, and they and representatives from Equestrian Trails Incorporated <br />(ETI) have been involved in a successful, cooperative effort to fashion dog <br />park and equestrian park rules. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Benton stated that Pete Martinez, Youth Outreach Worker, received a <br />"Special Person" Award from the Conejo Council P.T.A.; approximately 1,300 <br />teens attended the Teen Center Middle School Luau Dance on June 16; <br />Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks High School pools opened June 18; <br />Wildwood and Little Folks Summer Day Camps began June 18; and summer <br />programs begin the week of June 25. She presented an overview of the July <br />4 Independence Day activities. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />No report. <br />
