June 21, 2001
Page 5
B. Adoption Of Resolution No. 062101-D, A Resolution Amending The
2000-2001 General Fund Annual Operating Budget
Robertson stated that, overall, projected expenditures through June 30 are in
line with the adopted budget. She identified the work centers requiring
adjustments and necessary fund balance transfers from the General Fund.
It was moved by Berger, seconded by Holt, and carried 5-0 to adopt
Resolution Number 062101-D, amending the 2000-2001 General Fund
Annual Operating Budget as identified in the submitted documentation.
C. Authorization To Execute One Year Agreement With Conejo Valley
Historical Society, Fiscal Year 2001-2002
Ward stated that during the past twenty-two years, the Board has approved
separate one-year addendums to the overall master agreement with the
Historical Society, and staff recommendation is approval of the agreement.
It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to
authorize the General Manager to execute the submitted one-year
agreement with the Conejo Valley Historical Society for the period July
1, 2001 through June 30, 2002.
D. Adoption Of Resolution No. O62101 -E, A Resolution Setting District
Facility Fee And Charges
Benton said that staff has reviewed the current Facility Fee and Charges and
recommends a 30 percent increase in athletic field lights, due to the
anticipated increase in the cost of electricity, and, if approved, the fee
schedule would become effective July 1, 2001.
In response to Jacobsen's inquiry, Benton said that facility fees were
increased by five percent last year, and at this time staff does not anticipate
an increase in other utilities.
Jacobsen requested that next year cost of living figures and comparable fees
charged by other districts be included in the documentation. Benton said
that a recent check indicated that District fees are comparable to other local
agencies.
