Warrants, Exhibits A - D, Total $430,181.05 <br />It was moved by Jacobsen, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0, with <br />Gibson abstaining, to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />7. DEFERRED MATTERS <br />A. Continuation Of April 19, 2001 Public Hearing - Tabulation Of Ballot <br />Results Of Proposed Conejo Recreation And Park District Maintenance <br />And Recreation Improvement District <br />Gibson declared the public hearing opened. <br />Josh Morris, of the District's Engineer, Shilts Consultants, Inc., stated that the <br />canvass of the assessment ballots submitted by property owners has been <br />completed and certified, and the votes cast are as follows: <br />Total Number of Valid Ballots Processed: 16,359 <br />Total Assessment Amount of Valid Ballots: $439,798.94 <br />Total Number of "Yes" Votes Processed: 10,682 <br />Total Assessment Amount of "Yes" Votes Processed: $282,143.62 <br />Total Number of "No" Votes Processed: 5,677 <br />Total Assessment Amount of "No" Votes Processed: $157,655.32 <br />Total Percentage of "No" Assessment Amount: 35.8% <br />Total Number of Flnvalid" Ballots Processed: 384 <br />Total Assessment Amount of "invalid" Ballots: $9,217.86 <br />Gibson closed the public hearing. <br />Ward provided background information, reviewed the process, recognized <br />the importance of dedicated community volunteers in the success of the <br />assessment district effort, and said that it will help the District to meet the <br />needs of the community, and each year a public hearing will be conducted to <br />assess its continuation. <br />
