Authorize the General Manager to enter into release agreement with G2K Construction, Inc. <br />2. ' Determine that Builtall Construction bid submittal is non-responsive and reject bid. <br />3. Appropriate $150,000 from Districtwide Fund Balance to Conejo Creek West Dog Park Improvement <br />Project (account 62-803-811-81004-000). <br />4. Award bid to FS Contractors, Inc. for $1,249,000 Base Bid, plus contingency in the amount of $79,000, <br />totaling $1,328,000 for construction of parking lot, landscaping, utility connections, pre -fabricated <br />restroom building, and shade structures. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On March 18, 2021, the Board of Directors took several actions regarding the project, including: <br />® Denying United Construction and Landscape Inc.'s protest of G2K Construction, Inc., Built All <br />Construction, and FS Contractors, Inc. bid submittals. <br />• Determining that the Conejo Creek West Dog Park Improvement Project is categorically exempt <br />from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). <br />• Appropriating $180,000 from Districtwide Fund Balance to Conejo Creek West Dog Park <br />Improvement Project (account 62-803-811-81004-000). <br />® Awarding the bid to G2K Construction, Inc. for $1,099,000 Base Bid, plus contingency in the <br />amount of $81,000, totaling $1,180,000 for construction of parking lot, landscaping, utility <br />connections, pre -fabricated restroom building, and shade structures. <br />The full March 18, 2021 item can be found at www.crpd.org/20210318G2KAward. <br />ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES <br />403 West Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360-4223 <br />805-495-6471 1 Fax: 805-497-3199 1 parks@crpd.org I www.crpd.org <br />
