Recreation Division Highlights Page 2 of 3 Revised 04.2021 <br />Goebel Adult Community Center <br /> <br />Lucky Leprechaun Bingo <br />On Wednesday, March 17, a total of 65 seniors played Bingo in their cars and celebrated St. <br />Patrick’s Day drive-in style at the Goebel Center! Corned Beef, cabbage, soda bread, and more <br />was served. Prizes were awarded to the winners and fun was had by all! <br />Grilled Cheese Madness and Bingo <br />On Friday, April 23 at 5:00pm, seniors can come play Bingo in their cars and enjoy grilled cheese <br />sandwiches drive-in style at the Goebel Center! Cars can contain people from the same household. <br /> <br />Thousand Oaks Community Center <br />Spring Break Programs <br />Thousand Oaks Community Center offered a variety of programs during spring break: Funny <br />Bunnies, Spring Break Fun, and Sewing Camp. Students enjoyed themed activities including an <br />egg drop, obstacle courses, and socially distanced games and activities. In the afternoon, a Sewing <br />camp walked them step by step on projects and colorful creations while safely operate a sewing <br />machine. <br />Homeschool Enrichment Academy <br />The first session of Homeschool Enrichment Academy started with a full class on Monday, March <br />29. Participants made woodworking creations, danced to Zumba beats, had fun in Math Blasters, <br />conducted science experiments, and played an assortment of creative games. <br />
