Recreation & Community Services <br />Recreation Division Highlights Page 1 of 3 Revised 04.2021 <br /> Recreation Division Highlights <br />Thursday, April 8, 2021 <br /> District-Wide Events <br />You’ve Been Egged! <br />Nearly 100 easter baskets were delivered by <br />CRPD staff to Conejo Valley families throughout the week leading up to Easter. Each delivery <br />included a large basket, twenty eggs filled with an assortment of candy and toys placed around <br />the yard or porch, and a personalized yard sign. Weekday afternoon deliveries also came with a <br />flashlight to add a whole new dimension and challenge to the egg hunt experience! <br /> Thousand Oaks Teen Center <br />Our Mountain Biking class continues to be one our most popular and well-liked programs this session. Fifteen teens meet each week and are led by Senior Recreation Leader BJ O’Connor for a <br />thrilling 2-hour ride. Some treks leave from the Thousand Oaks Teen Center, while others have had drop-off and pick-up points. Trips include Conejo Creek South, Skelton Canyon Trail, Lizard <br />Rock, Sapwi Trails Community Park, and more. Due to Mountain Biking’s popularity, we plan on offering the program two days per week during the summer season! <br />
