Recreation Division Highlights Page 3 of 5 Revised 03.2021 Hillcrest Center for the Arts HCFA ZOMBIE EXPERIENCE In these perilous times of Vaccines and Masks, The Cultural Unit presents the Ultimate Pandemic Joyfest: A ZOMBIE RUN! Participants will begin in the HCFA Shop. Armed only with a Flashlight, they will venture forth one at time in Socially Distanced timeslots, through the darkened T.O.C.D.C. (Hillcrest Center For the Arts). Zombies await in each of the 20 rooms - the victims of Mask denial and a bad batch of Astra Zeneca. Each Participant will be wearing 4 flags, 1 on each arm and leg. The flag = Damage or loss of limb from a Zombie attack. Prizes will be awarded based on Flags remaining at the end of your run. LOSS OF ALL FLAGS = ZOMBIE QUARRANTINE FOR THE NIGHT AND YOU JOIN THE RANKS OF THE LIVING DEAD. Fee: $25.00. Advance Tickets/Registration required; Limit: 30 Participants per hour – 2 min time between each. Thu 4/1, Fri 4/2, Sat 4/3, Sun 4/4 @ 8p, 9p, 10p Meditation to Silence the Voices in Your Head The Hillcrest Center for the Arts offers MEDITATION TO SILENCE THE VOICES IN YOUR HEAD with Jess! Start your day off right with a guided meditation through the labyrinth in your mind. Imagine empowering yourself to confront the voices in your head as you encounter their myriad forms around unexpected corners. Visualize finding the right words to politely ask the voices to stop, or to at least be more positive and cheerful. Envision practicing Olympic level martial arts on the voices until they submit to your wishes. Thursdays in April.
