February 1, 2001 <br />Page 5 <br />12. <br />13. <br />M <br />E. <br />In response to Lange's request, Benton said that attendance figures for the <br />recent Young Artists Ensemble presentation will be provided at the next <br />meeting. <br />Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen discussed the status of the District website and e-mail capabilities <br />and options, and elicited Board members' requirements. <br />In response to Lange's inquiry, Jorgensen said that approximately 30 percent <br />of registration is conducted on-line, which is less costly for the District, and <br />the next level of internet usage, anticipated in the fall, is center registration. <br />Gibson recommended that the District website be nominated for CARPD's <br />(California Recreation and Park Districts) award recognition program in the <br />"Best Electronic Presentation" category. <br />General Manager's Report <br />Ward reported that the Support Our Parks <br />January 31, it was a productive meeting, <br />February 13, and he will meet with the <br />February 5. <br />Directors' Reports <br />and Open Space Committee met <br />another meeting is scheduled for <br />Citizens Budget Task Force on <br />Lange noted that the VCSDA (Ventura County Special Districts Association) <br />annual dinner meeting is scheduled for March 6. <br />REQUEST FOR STATUS REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR SUBSEQUENT <br />AGENDAS <br />ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />14.
