Recreation Division Report <br />Benton reported that winter classes began Monday, January 15; the <br />Young Artists ensemble will present "Little Shop of Horrors" at the <br />Scherr Forum Theatre, Civic Arts Plaza, January 26 to 28; the Conejo <br />Substance Abuse Prevention Authority will be presenting the <br />Parenting Faire on Saturday, February 3 at Thousand Oaks High <br />School, and registration is currently being taken. <br />C. Administration Division Report <br />Jorgensen inquired whether Board members have been receiving <br />E-mail from their addresses listed on the CRPD website. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Ward mentioned that the Assessment District Yes For Support Our <br />Parks and Open Space Committee meeting was held on January 17. <br />To date, the District has received approximately $5,000 from entities <br />such as the Conejo Valley Little League, Thousand Oaks Little <br />League, Shilts Consultants, and Selleck Properties. Additionally, Bill <br />Buratto, Jim Rochford, Maryanne Lucas, Tim Heyne, Gina <br />Smurthwaite will head significant positions on the committee. <br />Committee members were requested to gather ten fundraising <br />endorsements. The next committee meeting will be held on <br />Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Hall of the <br />Goebel Senior Adult Center. <br />E. Directors' Reports <br />Holt informed the Board that Lange presented a special District award <br />on January 17. <br />12.
