Recreation Division Report Callis reminded Board members that special presentations made to the Board are posted to the CRPD website and are also "pushed out" to the public via social media. She referenced the Wellness Fest Brochure provided the Board members this evening, which includes a photo of Director Huffer. This event was very well attended. "Recreation Highlights", previously provided on the night of the Board meetings, have now become and will remain an official part of the Board agenda packet. The drive-in movie ("Frozen 2") was cancelled due to high winds. The Goebel Adult Community Center is being used as a vaccine clinic; staff there are doing their best to help the County where possible and respond to a deluge of calls and questions. Polling Results received indicating patrons are satisfied with the recent Fall/Winter Program session. The Conejo/Las Virgenes Future Foundation will hold a Senior Congress on Feb 24th C. Management Services Division Report Smith reported the Union sent a letter to management requesting information to prepare for the upcoming bargaining session. She also made note that a budget calendar was provided Board members last week. D. General Manager's Report Friedl referred to the Ventura County Recovers website as an update to what is happening re: vaccines and registration for same. The availability is handled week by week. He thanked Callis for the great information presented in "Recreation Highlights", which will now be a formal part of the CRPD Board packets. At the February 4th Board meeting, staff will include a Board report and action item concerning the loan discussed earlier this evening. The March 4th Board Meeting is likely to be dedicated to employee awards only; there will likely be no formal business conducted. E. Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended Huffer and Holt attended a Finance and Audit Committee Meeting. Huffer is one of the organizers of the upcoming tax program, which is likely to be all virtual; clients will send scanned documents for review. Cusworth met with Claudia Bill -de -la Pen"a about the City's goals regarding the homeless population; she will update the Board of Directors at a future meeting. Last weekend, she watched a streaming Comedy Night from home; there were 227 in attendance. The Stagecoach Inn property has a diseased oak tree that needs to be removed; CRPD will provide a replacement. She talked with Barbara Tejada about what's going on at
