Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $141,001.93 <br />Payroll $371,100 <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to <br />approve the Consent Calendar as presented. <br />Friedl reported on the stay-at-home order issued by the state on December 15th. <br />Playgrounds were closed for one day and then reopened. He shared some current <br />statistics regarding California's tier metrics and the number of employees who have <br />tested positive or are quarantining due to possible exposure. Since the last Board <br />meeting, nothing has changed regarding facilities and amenities. <br />Friedl stated that, traditionally, the selection of Chair and Vice Chair is done <br />in December. <br />It was moved by Huffer and seconded by Holt to nominate Nickles to <br />serve as Chair. It was unanimously agreed upon to close the <br />nominations. The election of Nickles as Chair was approved by a vote <br />of 5-0. <br />Nickles assumed the position of Chair. <br />Friedl thanked Chair Lange for all his efforts during 2020 and presented him <br />with a token of appreciation from the District. Lange thanked the Board for <br />their support during the year; Board members thanked Lange for his service. <br />
