Facility Reservations Summaries 2019-2020 <br />B. Park Dedication Fee <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />Hare reported the paving projects scheduled in conjunction and partnership with the City of <br />Thousand Oaks have been finished, which included 11 parking lots. A number of public <br />meetings will be scheduled soon for three upcoming projects: Lang Ranch Neighborhood <br />Park renovations, the Dog Park parking lot, restroom and shade structure, and Conejo <br />Community Park assessment; he will keep Board members apprised of the dates and times <br />should they like to attend. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis urged Board members to read the Recreation Highlights provided to them this evening. <br />The Labor Day -Drive In concert was a success. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Smith reported the audit is wrapping up; it has been especially challenging due to COVID <br />and the remote nature of the work. She expressed special thanks to Accounting Supervisor <br />Massie and her team for all their assistance. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl thanked Hare for the scholarly report he presented earlier this evening. Smith and her <br />team are putting a District -Wide Staff IT Committee together; IT Manager Segedie will act as <br />Chair. The Committee will be looking at all the different technologies and their possible <br />integration into District systems, as well as investigating security issues and the various <br />zoom/telecommuting issues that have arisen over the last six months. <br />E. , Directors Reports and Follow-up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Cusworth enjoyed attending the Labor Day Drive -In Concert and thanked Callis and her team <br />for all their hard work on the event. The Stagecoach Inn opened their Suffrage Event; it was <br />very creative and included indoor displays that could be viewed from outside on the porch. <br />Huffer reported he also enjoyed attending the Labor Day Drive-in Concert. He complimented <br />Brian Stark of Conejo Open Space Conservation Authority (COSCA) for his handling of <br />multiple residential complaints regarding the urban/wildland interface and the 100 -foot brush <br />clearance standard. Nickles met with Friedl prior to the last Board meeting that he missed; <br />
