Approval of Warrants <br />Accounts Payable Check Registers Total $1,976,256.18 <br />Payroll $1,715,750.00 <br />It was moved by Holt, seconded by Huffer, and carried 4-0 to approve Consent <br />Calendar as presented. <br />IIPTq_F-T <br />Friedl reported much is unchanged as regards the District since his last update on July 18th. <br />All parks remain open; Community Centers are closed to walk-ins and drop -ins but are being <br />used for programs that comply with COVID protocols. Playgrounds remain closed under <br />the state public health order. No organized team games or practices are allowed, but the <br />District is processing an increasing number of permits for fitness activities. Parks are getting <br />heavy usage. Friedl referenced the color -coding tracking system the state is now using. <br />Staff continues to navigate the maze of re -openings and constantly remains "on their toes." <br />He gave kudos to Recreation staff for being flexible and meeting the many challenges of <br />this situation. He remarked that the District is bound by the state and county Public Health <br />orders and guidelines. <br />A. ••• • 2021 Board of •rs Meeting Schedule <br />Friedl presented the Board Meeting Schedule for 2021; it follows the traditional <br />pattern of meetings held every 1St and 3rd Thursday of the month except for August, <br />when the Board does not convene. <br />
