July 16, 2020 <br />Page 2 <br />Friedl reported that various re -openings are being scaled back due to the increased virus numbers <br />Ventura County has recently experienced. He shared the Ventura County Emergency website, <br />specifically measurements being tracked regarding the county's progress in dealing with the <br />coronavirus. Of the six measurements, two continue to not meet the standard. He also referenced <br />a useful FAQ section; these questions are updated often. A particularly impactful recent change is: <br />"Organized and/or recreational team sports and activities are prohibited until further notice." CRPD <br />parks and amenities remain open for use within Public Health Orders and Guidelines. Community <br />Centers remain closed but continue to support camps. Playgrounds remain closed. Human <br />Resources Director Howell has recently held meetings for both full and part-time employees <br />regarding safety protocols and how to stay safe at work. The District has had two employees test <br />positive for COVID. <br />9. NEW ITEMS <br />A. 2020 Biennial Review of Conflict of Interest Code <br />Friedl reported this Conflict of Interest Code review is brought to the Board every two years <br />as required by the County of Ventura. This year, the only amendment necessary is a title <br />change from "Information Technology Analyst" to "Information Technology Supervisor". <br />It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to approve and <br />adopt the Conflict of Interest Code for the Conejo Recreation and Park District and <br />authorize the General Manager to forward to the Clerk of the Ventura County Board <br />of Supervisors. <br />10.
