Establish Ad Hoc Rancho Potrero Community Equestrian Center Committee
Friedl reviewed the need for the subject committee; staff level discussions between
the City of Thousand Oaks, the Conejo Open Space Conservation Authority
(COSCA) and CRPD are at a point where Board level committee participation and
involvement is deemed warranted. This ad hoc committee would meet with the City's
ad hoc committee — it is anticipated there would be two representatives from the City,
two from CRPD, and two from COSCA. The CRPD Committee would consist of one
COSCA member and one non-COSCA member. Once the City establishes their
committee, discussions would ensue. Lange, Huffer and Nickles indicated an interest
in serving on the committee. Huffer deferred to Nickles.
It was moved by Huffer, seconded by Holt, and carried 4-0 to establish an Ad
Hoc Rancho Potrero Community Equestrian Center Committee and that
Directors Lange and Director Nickles would serve on this Committee.
10.
