CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />March 5, 2020 <br />6:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Lange called the meeting to order at 6:02 pm and Lethbridge led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Holt, Huffer, Lange, Nickles <br />Directors Absent: Cusworth <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Part -Time Service Awards <br />Megan Ragone — Hillcrest Center for the Arts <br />Paula Rossomando —Sports <br />Tania Hernandez — Borchard Community Center <br />Joe Kuperschmidt —Dos Vientos Community Center (absent) <br />Jath Andrade — Goebel Adult Community Center <br />Madison Franklin — Thousand Oaks Community Center <br />Amzie Mattson —Therapeutics <br />Callis introduced the recipients, presented overviews of their professional and academic <br />accomplishments, and thanked them for their outstanding contributions to the District. <br />Recipients thanked the Board, co-workers, and families for their support, and expressed <br />appreciation for the award. <br />Directors congratulated and thanked recipients for their contributions and efforts on the <br />District's behalf. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />Amy Lethbridge, representing Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority <br />(MRCA), expressed deep appreciation for the work of Lewanda for the MRCA over the <br />last 16 years and wished her well on her retirement. <br />
