Management Services Division Report
Smith thanked her staff for all their extra efforts over the past two weeks.
D. General Manager's Report
Friedl thanked staff for their support over the last few weeks. He also thanked the staff at the
City of Thousand Oaks, particularly City Manager Drew Powers, who is doing a fine job of
leading the city and keeping the information flow going. The goal is to keep the CRPD family together; this
unprecedented situation is most regrettable and unfortunate.
E. Directors Reports
This week Lange attended a Santa Monica Mountains Advisory Committee telephonic
meeting with about 20 participants; yesterday he attended a Mountains Recreation and
Conservation Authority (MRCA) regular Board meeting and two MRCA Special Meetings.
On March 24th, Huffer and Cusworth met, as part of the Revenue Measure ad hoc committee,
with CRPD staff and the consultants, to review details contained in the suggested public
survey. Cusworth was enjoying participating in the COSCA trail challenge before the open
space and trails were closed.
12.
