Friedl, Hare, and <br />Senior Park Planner Mooney met with Katherin Nolan to discuss the increased interest <br />in pickleball throughout the District. <br />E. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Huffer, Cusworth, and Nickles attended the Youth Summit, and each said the event <br />inspired hope for the future. Huffer reminded everyone the free Income Tax Preparation <br />service is still underway. He thanked Callis for meeting with Ventura County Sheriff and <br />AYSO regarding Persian New Year. <br />Cusworth met at the Stagecoach Inn with the Conejo Valley Historical Society. She <br />attended the recent History Comes Alive! performance at the Goebel Adult Community <br />Center. <br />Nickles shared that teens and college students seem to be out of the loop when <br />information is distributed to the community; he encouraged staff to find ways to bridge <br />the gap. He also attended the COSCA Board Meeting, the Safe Passage field study at <br />Barnes & Noble on Valentine's Day, and he hiked the trails in Wildwood this past <br />weekend. <br />12.
