Com►.+_' ...-'!y,.�:" <br />ASNt__Lu. <br />J <br />Skate Park Renovation <br />Borchard Community Park <br />Multiple focus group meetings have been <br />held to kickstart the multi-year planning and <br />fundraising effort to renovate/expand the <br />skate park. The goal of the project is to <br />refine existing features that have been <br />successful for the community and expand <br />other areas for varying skating types, <br />levels, and inclusivity of all users. Skate <br />park will be in the same location but is <br />planned to nearly double in footprint. <br />Park Design <br />Conejo Creek Southwest Neighborhood Park <br />Park staff is in the final design efforts. The next step is <br />to secure funding and put out to bid for construction. <br />The 14.1 -acre park will feature a Chumash-themed <br />playground, parking lot, solar -powered restroom, <br />shaded picnic area, fitness stations, limited natural <br />turf, drought -tolerant landscaping, water efficient <br />irrigation systems, and walking/equestrian paths. <br />Park Design <br />Conejo Community Center/Park <br />Initial public and stakeholder assessment meetings <br />have been held. With the provided feedback, planning <br />efforts have begun to formulate guiding priorities for a <br />renovation of the park features and center building.
