Funds from this grant would help finance three separate <br />playground improvement projects at Triunfo Park, Southshore Hills Park and Lang <br />Rang Neighborhood Park for a total of $850,000. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Lange, seconded by Holt and carried 5-0 to adopt Resolution <br />100319-A, approving application in the California Drought, Water, Parks, <br />Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor Access for All Act of 2018 – Per <br />Capital Grant Program for playground upgrades at Triunfo Park, Southshore <br />Hills Park, and Lang Ranch Neighborhood Park, that it be read in title only and <br />all further readings be waived. <br /> <br />C. Purchase of 2020 Freightliner Dump Truck in the amount of $110,264.00 <br /> <br /> Hare reported staff worked through Sourcewell’s national cooperative purchasing <br />contract to facilitate this purchase, which meets all District specifications. The old <br />dump truck will have a trade in value of $2,000 making the net price for the new <br />truck $110,264.00 <br /> <br /> It was moved by Holt, seconded by Cusworth, and carried 5-0 to award <br />purchase in the total amount of $110,264.00 to Velocity Truck Center as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> One (1) 220 Freightliner M2 106 Dump Truck in the amount of $112,264.00 <br />through the national Sourcewell cooperative purchasing contract (#052417- <br />PBL), less a trade-in credit of $2,000, for a net of $110,264.00 <br /> <br />10.
