Amendment #1 to Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Conejo Disc <br />Golf Club for Use of Rabbit Flats and Sapwi Disc Golf Courses <br /> <br /> Hare reported that in September 2010, the District entered into an MOU with the <br />Conejo Disc Golf Club (CDGC) regarding the Rabbit Flats Disc Golf Course, and its <br />operations, maintenance and use. With the addition of a disc golf course at Sapwi <br />Trails Community Park in October 2017, the District entered into a new MOU which <br />superseded the original and included both courses. The MOU presented this <br />evening will add three years to the current agreement. <br /> <br /> Hare introduced Mike Byrne, President of the Conejo Disc Golf Club. Byrne made a <br />presentation, which included a brief history of the sport, improvements being made <br />at the Sapwi Trails Disc Golf Course (including over 20 Eagle Scout Projects); <br />volunteer activities; and the different aspects of each course. He thanked the Board <br />members for their support and partnership. After answering Board member’s <br />questions, Byrne was thanked for all his hard work and his mentorship of the program <br />and sport. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Holt, seconded by Lange, and carried 5-0 to authorize General <br />Manager to enter into Amendment #1 to the Memorandum of Understanding <br />(MOU) with Conejo Disc Golf Club (CDGC.) <br /> <br /> B. California Drought, Water, Parks, Climate, Coastal Protection, and Outdoor <br /> Access for All Act of 2018 – Per Capita Grant Program <br />
