Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Coordinator <br />Conejo Recreation and Park District <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />In addition to the above, the District recommended the following minor changes to the job <br />descriptions: <br />Change the requirement of a Commercial Class B Driver's License to a Commercial Class <br />C Driver's License for the Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Coordinator as a <br />Commercial Class B Driver's License is not needed. <br />m Remove the requirement for the Recreation Therapist certification from the Recreation <br />Coordinator as it is no longer required for this classification. <br />• For the position in the Therapeutic Recreation Unit: Add the preferred degree, a degree <br />in Therapeutic Recreation, and experience, two years experience working with <br />individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably with Applied Behavior Analysis <br />(ABA), to the Recreation Coordinator job description. <br />Recommendation <br />Based on the above, the proposed changes to the Recreation Supervisor and Recreation <br />Coordinator job descriptions are appropriate and well within the scope of the classifications. <br />Further, since these changes do not require a material change in the level associated with the <br />classification, there is no change recommended to the salary of these two classifications. <br />If you have any questions or would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to call me at <br />(916) 630-4900. <br />
