Budget Performance Report — May 2019 <br />11. DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />No Report, <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis reported on some staff changes: America Nava has been promoted, replacing <br />Melissa Ruwhiu, as the Recreation Supervisor at Thousand Oaks Community Center, <br />while Ruwhiu is replacing Brenda Coleman as Recreation Services Manager. Michele <br />Mills, Reservations Coordinator, will be retiring in July and Cecilia Laufenberg, <br />Recreation Supervisor, Therapeutics Unit, is relocating out of state. Rick Tanaka and <br />Sara Daub have swapped Centers; Tanaka is now at Dos Vientos Community Center <br />and Daub is at the Teen Center. The new CRPD website is up and running using <br />WordPress. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />Lewanda reported the Information Technology Department had a busy week—there was <br />a Laserfiche update, a New World Systems 2019 update and a transition to the new <br />CRPD website. Lewanda provided some detail on MRCA's two Benefit Assessment <br />Districts and two Community Fund Districts. She also mentioned that she doesn't see <br />any issue with CRPD's °ratings" vis a vis a BAD or CFD. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported next Tuesday, the Thousana uaKs City council agenda will include the <br />Healing Garden/Borderline Memorial, as well as the Teen Center and Goebel Adult <br />Community Center leases and operating agreements. Additionally, CRPD will be <br />honored, as July is National Parks and Recreation Month. Friedl will be out of the office <br />next week; Hare will be Acting Manager. There will be a need for a closed session this <br />evening. <br />E. Directors' Reports & Follow -Up Reports on Meetings/Conferences Attended <br />Lange heard positive comments about the recent Touch -a -Truck event. On Saturday, <br />he attended the 10t' Anniversary Celebration at the CLU Community Pool and the <br />
