May 16, 2019 <br />Page 6 <br />Happy Hour at Conejo Community Center. Holt and Huffer met with Friedl and <br />Lewanda at a Finance and Audit Committee Meeting on May 15th. All Board <br />Members were part of the recent Gratitude Circle event at Conejo Creek North. <br />Nickles is attending a Metropolitan Water District Tour tomorrow; he will be going to <br />South Lake Tahoe for the CARPD Annual Conference next week; he will miss the <br />June 201 Board meeting. Lange attended "Bark in the Park"; he is going to the <br />CARPD Conference. Cusworth recently attended a Chumash lecture and a Comedy <br />Club event at Hillcrest Center. She, along with staff, was part of a meeting with the <br />Non -Toxic Neighborhood Group regarding the use of Glyphosate in District parks. <br />Huffer will be attending the CARPD conference in Tahoe and the McCrea Ranch <br />Cowboy Cookout on Saturday evening. He will be absent from the June 6th Board <br />meeting. Lange reported the "Thousand Oaks Acorn" will be doing a story on the <br />pilots and the planes involved in the flyover scheduled for the Memorial Day Concert <br />in the Park. <br />12.
