Options <br />CPA has rolled out several options for the community. These options were presented to local <br />residents with the default option (100% Green Power) taking effect in March 2019. For commercial <br />accounts, such as the Conejo Recreation and Park District, the default option (100% Green <br />Power) takes effect in May 2019. With either residential or commercial, a customer can change <br />their option preference at any time to take effect the following billing cycle. <br />Staff met with representatives from CPA to discuss the various options and the estimated financial <br />impact on the District. <br />Above analysis: <br />• includes available hourly interval data for over 50 accounts supplied by SCE from 2017. Eleven accounts are not included <br />as information was not available at the time of the rate analysis. <br />• does not take into account Critical Peak Pricing implemented by SCE in March 2019. <br />• assumes Net Energy Metering accounts (solar— McCrea, Borchard, Conejo Creek South, Dos Vientos, and Thousand <br />Oaks) for a full year. NEM accounts will be available for considering options at the end of each accounts Relevant Period <br />in October (McCrea) and December (Borchard, Conejo Creek South, Dos Vientos, and Thousand Oaks) <br />None of the above qualifications significantly change the estimated impacts on the District. <br />The District currently uses approximately 1,790,000 kW of electricity per year. Of that total, <br />approximately 770,000 kW is generated by the five solar installations (McCrea Ranch Visitor <br />Center, and carports at Borchard, Conejo Creek South, Dos Vientos, and Thousand Oaks) <br />installed by the District in the past decade.
