April 18, 2019 <br />Page 5 <br />Lange reported District staff and Board members attended an event earlier today sponsored <br />by the Ventura County Leadership Academy where Friedl was recognized as Public Sector <br />Leader of the Year; Lange congratulated Friedl for this well-deserved honor. Holt recently <br />met with CVUSD Board member Sandee Everett and City Councilmember Al Adam. Nickles <br />reported receiving complimentary feedback from several people about Spawi Trails <br />Community Park and Wildwood Regional Park. On April 6th, he attended the Summer <br />Recreation Fair at Thousand Oaks Community Center and that evening he participated in <br />the Sapwi After Dark Hike. Cusworth met with Claudia bill de la Pena; Cusworth has <br />completed seven hikes towards the COSCA challenge, with three more to go. Huffer <br />reported tax season is over and the senior tax service exceeded their service goal for the <br />year; in the last three days of the program, over 80 returns were completed daily. <br />12.
