CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT AND THE MOUNTAINS <br />RECREATIONAND CONSERVATION AUTHORITY <br />PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL AUDITING SERVICES <br />Firm qualifications and experience (continued) <br />Our firm has a total staff of thirty-four people, which includes fifteen certified public accountants. The staff <br />consists of five partners, one director, four managers, eight supervisors/senior accountants, eleven staff <br />accountants and five support staff. The audit staff consists of twenty-one members who devote over 80% <br />of their time to municipal engagements. The engagement team assigned to the District's engagement will <br />consist of the following full-time staff: one audit partner, one audit manager, one audit senior and two to <br />three staff auditors. All personnel are located in our San Bernardino office. <br />Our firm is committed to providing our clients with the highest quality service at the most reasonable fee. <br />The professionals assigned to the District's financial audit have each made providing quality service their <br />priority. <br />Single audit experience <br />Most of our government clients, and some of our other governmental and not-for-profit clients, have been <br />subject to an audit in accordance with Uniform Guidance. We recently performed single audits for the <br />following entities: <br />City of Capitola <br />City of Thousand Oaks <br />City of San Marcos <br />City of Poway <br />City of Fillmore <br />City of Rosemead <br />City of Hawthorne <br />CAFR preparation <br />City of La Mesa <br />City of Claremont <br />City of West Covina <br />City of Twentynine Palms <br />University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB <br />Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District <br />City of La Verne <br />We have extensive experience in the preparation of Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports (CAFR). <br />For the fiscal years ended June 30, 2016 and 2017, our staff prepared over 20 CAFR's, and each entity <br />received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the GFOA. For the fiscal <br />year ended June 30, 2018, again, our staff will prepare over 20 CAFR's for our clients for their submittal <br />to the GFOA. In addition, we have helped many cities and special districts develop their first year's report <br />for submittal. The audit partner on the engagement is also a technical reviewer for the GFOA CAFR award <br />program.
