The installation, operation, maintenance and servicing of park landscaping and <br />facilities, including trees, shrubs, grass and other ornamental vegetation, <br />walkways, trails, irrigation systems, drainage devices, lighting, park and <br />recreational improvements and appurtenant facilities, generally identified as the <br />Rancho Conejo playfield located at the northeastern intersection of N. Ventu Park <br />Rd. and Lawrence Dr. consisting of: <br />• Two concrete tennis courts, sand tot lot with equipment, basketball <br />court, parking lot and open turf areas (4.1 Acres), <br />• Single softball field with soccer overlay, restroom, and sand volleyball <br />court (4.3 acres), <br />• Single softball field with soccer overlay. (4.3 acres). <br />SECTION 3. The improvements are hereby referred to the WILLDAN FINANCIAL <br />SERVICES, Assessment Engineer, who was directed to prepare and file the Assessment <br />Engineer's Report as required by the provisions of Assessment Law generally containing <br />the following: <br />A. Plans and specifications describing the general nature, location and extent of <br />the improvements to be maintained and the extent of such maintenance; <br />B. An estimate of the cost of the maintenance of the improvements for the <br />Maintenance District for the referenced fiscal year; <br />C. A diagram for the Maintenance District, showing the area and properties <br />proposed to be assessed; <br />D. An annual assessment for Fiscal Year 2019/2020 of the estimated costs of the <br />maintenance of those improvements to be maintained during such Fiscal Year, <br />assessing the net amount upon assessable lots and/or parcels within the <br />Maintenance District in proportion to the special benefits received. <br />The Assessment Engineer's Report, as presented, is hereby approved on a preliminary <br />basis, and is ordered to be filed in the Office of the Secretary of the Board of Directors as <br />a permanent record and to remain open to public inspection. <br />SECTION 4. The above Assessment Engineer's Report includes the costs and expenses <br />of said maintenance and/or servicing relating to the improvements to be maintained and <br />serviced during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2020. <br />SECTION 5. The Secretary of the Board of Directors shall certify to the passage and <br />adoption of this Resolution, and the minutes of this meeting shall so reflect the <br />presentation of the Assessment Engineer's Report. <br />
