From: James Friedl <jfriedl@crpd.org> <br />Sent: Saturday, November 10, 2018 9:03 PM <br />Subject: CRPD Fire Update 11110 <br />CRPD Board and Staff <br />C: FYI to City of TOICOSCAIMRCA <br />8:00 PM 11/10/18 (Brief update of CRPD Activities) <br />Evacuation orders lifted on west side of town related to Hill Fire <br />Evacuation orders remain in effect on east side of town (plus Oak Park, Agoura, Westlake). <br />We have been informed that the Fire Camp for Woolsey Fire is planning to move off of Conejo <br />Creek South to establish a joint command at Freedom Park in Camarillo. Anticipating they will <br />vacate CCSouth by Wed. 11114. <br />Status of Evacuation Shelters located in City of TO: <br />Borchard Community Center as ARC Shelter: 18 <br />Teen Center as ARC Shelter: 40 <br />GACC as CRPD/City Shelter: 73 <br />TO Center has been closed as an evacuation shelter (supplies remain inside building should it <br />need to be reopened). <br />Parks staff remain on 24 hour rotation in support of shelters (extra custodial) and the fire camp. <br />COSCA Ranger staff have been closing trail heads/access points and serving as a security role <br />for open space areas and making preliminary assessments of burn impacts. <br />Recreation staff have been focused on and keeping evacuation shelters open. <br />Other Community Centers and sports fields were closed today (Saturday) <br />For Sunday: 11111 <br />CRPD Programs are canceled. <br />Sports Fields are open to community and user groups (at their discretion/air quality). <br />Reservable picnic areas are open <br />Community Centers (DVC, CCC, TOC (gym availability tbd) open to public per normal operating <br />hours. [BOC, Teen, GACC Centers remain evacuation shelters] <br />Hillcrest Center Open for production "Once Upon a Mattress" and for 5 -Star Theatrical's <br />auditions for "Matilda" <br />US Veterans Day event at Conejo Creek North has been canceled <br />10:30 AM Sunday - County of Ventura: Mass Care Conference call. <br />Exhibit 2 - Fires Page 7 <br />
