See below. <br />• Document damage at each park with photos, park name and estimates of quantity <br />o We will meet next week to compile <br />o Also report preventative ideas for problems that occurred <br />o Look at flood abatement potential <br />• DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT, DOCUMENT <br />o Hours, materials equipment all will be charged to the fire — separate it on your time <br />card there will be an acct code soon <br />Veteran's day thing Sunday let me know asap if this is still online. <br />From: James Friedi ajfriedl@crpd.org> <br />Sent: Friday, November 9, 2018 2:20 PM <br />Subject: FW: Fires <br />CRPD Board and Admins - <br />2:00 PM 1119118 (brief update of CRPD activities past 14 hours (subject to adjustment as info. <br />comes in)) <br />Teen Center and Borchard Center were activated as American Red Cross evacuation shelters <br />last night. <br />In the middle of the night a mandatory evacuation text went out to many phones (_uncertain <br />of exact no._). <br />Shortly thereafter the Teen Center was overwhelmed. <br />Staff opened the Goebel Adult Community Center to shelter the extra people (get them out of <br />the wind/smoke). <br />People parked on Teen, Senior, Library and Conejo Creek North Park. <br />Overflow parking started to occur at CVUSD HQ and property. <br />After Teen and Goebel Center filled, City1CRPDICVUSD staff determined to open shelters at <br />TOHS Gym and TO Community Center. <br />TO Community Center opened at approximately 3:00 PM Peak estimates of people in the <br />various shelters overnight are: <br />Teen Center (capacity) 300 - people staying in cars in parking lot <br />Goebel Adult Center (capacity) 500 - people staying in cars in parking lot <br />CCSouth - hundreds of people staying in cars <br />TOCommunity Center 300 <br />TOHS Gym tbd <br />Borchard Center (over capacity) 600 (including people staying in cars in parking lot) <br />At dawn, shelters started to thin. <br />Exhibit 2 — Fires Page 3 <br />
