CONEJO RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />September 6, 2018 <br />7:00 PM <br />HILLCREST CENTER <br />MINUTES <br />1. CALL TO ORDER AND FLAG SALUTE <br />Holt called the meeting to order at 7:02 pm and McQueeney led the flag salute. <br />2. ROLL CALL <br />Directors Present: Gibson, Holt, Huffer, Jones, Lange <br />Directors Absent: <br />Staff Present: General Manager Friedl, Administrators Callis, Hare and Lewanda and <br />Executive Assistant Reynders <br />3. SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS <br />Ride On Therapeutic Horsemanship <br />Bryan McQueeney, CEO of Ride -On Therapeutic Horsemanship, expressed deep appreciation to <br />the District for its support over the years. He emphasized Ride On's continual search for new <br />partnerships and programs and shared highlights from the past year. Board members thanked <br />McQueeney for his hard work, enthusiasm and for the evening's presentation. <br />Equestrian Trails Incorporated (ETI) #37 <br />Sharyn Henry, President of ETI Corral #37, reviewed recent improvements to the Waverly Park <br />facility and presented highlights of various events held during the past year, including a Dressage <br />Clinic, Horse Shows and Gymkhanas. She thanked CRPD for its support. Board member's <br />questions were answered and Henry was thanked for her informative presentation. <br />4. ITEMS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />5. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />It was moved by Jones, seconded by Huffer, and carried 5-0 to approve the agenda as <br />presented. <br />6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br />A. Approval of Minutes of July 19, 2018 Regular Meeting <br />B. Approval of Warrants <br />
