DEPARTMENT REPORTS <br />A. Parks Division Report <br />No report. <br />B. Recreation Division Report <br />Callis referenced Recreation Highlights. "The Greatest Showman" will be playing at the <br />Goebel Adult Community Center on Wednesday, July W1 at 3:30 pm. She reported on the <br />Summer Volunteer program - there are 50 youth in the program at Borchard Community <br />Center; Conejo Community Center and Dos Vientos Community Center also run this <br />program. Board members were provided with details of the program at Borchard. Olbrich, <br />Recreation Supervisor at Conejo Community Center, has hired two youth volunteers who <br />have come up through the Safe Passages program. Linda Hessman's last day will be on <br />Thursday, July 26th; Board members are invited to wish her well at a potluck lunch being held <br />at Hillcrest Center that day between 11:30 and 1:30 pm. In response to a Board member's <br />query, Callis reviewed the reasons for the lack of music transmitted via radio station at the <br />fireworks show last evening. <br />C. Management Services Division Report <br />No report. <br />D. General Manager's Report <br />Friedl reported California has a state budget. There will be 12 propositions on the November <br />ballot. With regard to the upcoming election, CRPD Board member candidates may pull their <br />papers beginning July 161; existing incumbents' paperwork must be submitted no later than <br />
